In this episode of Stride 2 Freedom, we had a chance to chat with Ashley Connell of The Prowess Project. It amazed me when Ashley, Founder and CEO of The Prowess Project, shared with me that once a woman is out of the workforce for three years that their earning potential over their career drops by 40%. Wow. While this saddened me, unfortunately, I wasn’t totally surprised. It’s why I was so excited to have Ashley join us on Stride 2 Freedom to talk about how her company is helping place highly qualified women back into the workforce today.

This episode wasn’t only about Ashley’s great work in promoting women in the workforce; more fundamentally, The Prowess Project helps organizations place temporary or full-time talent on a variable basis for companies that need resources. Sure, they happen to all be women but the problem to solve for business owners is more fundamental. In a world where companies are looking to reduce their fixed cost overhead, companies like The Prowess Project can satisfy a talent need on a variable basis, thereby giving business owners more flexibility to weather in a downturn.

The Prowess Project isn’t just about placing talent from their deep bench of thousands of highly qualified professionals. In order to even get on the bench, women have to go through a rigorous review that not only measures IQ but also EQ (Emotional Quotient). Through their proprietary algorithms, The Prowess Project can better place professionals in the right environments with the right teams and right culture because they map talent to soft skills as well as hard skills.

I appreciated spending time with Ashley and I know you will enjoy the episode learning about her passion and work!
