What I appreciate so much about Brooke is that she always asking how she can add more value.  She loves the search business.  She is a pro at placing finance professionals but has delivered excellence across a range of roles.  She is client service focused.  She leads searches with a grace that gives people confidence that she’s got them.  Rather than just have me and our clients know Brooke, I wanted to share a bit about her with you

Here are a few question to learn more about Brooke Murovannyy and why she is such a great contributor to Stride Talent.

Brooke’s Interview

  1. When did you start recruiting?
I started my career in staffing and recruiting specializing in Accounting, Finance, and HR positions with various clients across all industries. After 2.5 years, I moved on to Corporate Recruiting and have been doing so for the past 8 years.
  2. What do you like about it?
I have a very outgoing personality and really enjoy connecting with people both personally and professionally. I love having the opportunity to have conversations with people about their careers and aspirations while also helping them land their dream job.
  3. What makes you successful at your work?
I feel that I am successful at my work because I am an out-of-the-box thinker. When tasked to find a unicorn type of candidate, I try and search using various types of avenues, not just one.
  4. Why is Stride a great place to do recruiting work?
Stride is filled with very talented and kind individuals who I greatly respect and learn a lot from. It very much aligns with my values and morals as a person.
  5. Why do you like time-based recruiting?
I enjoy time-based recruiting because I feel like it gives me an opportunity to be more strategic and less tactical than if I were to be paid solely on commission. Recruiting is a tough position that requires a lot of time put into searches and I rather take my time finding the right candidate that will be with the company for the long haul versus just trying to fill the seat.
  6. What advice do you have for companies considering engaging a recruiter?
My advice would be to find a recruiter who understands the industry and culture of your company to ensure the candidate will transition smoothly.
