In this episode of Stride 2 Freedom, we had a chance to talk to Josh Dirks, founder and CEO of Project Bionic, a social media marketing agency that was founded way before social media marketing agencies were a thing. Josh has been forging his own path for over a decade, working with large and small brands to integrate social media into their overall marketing strategy. I know some of you may be thinking social media isn’t measurable enough, but Josh will prove you wrong!
What struck me is that the tools available today for tracking social media to revenue conversion have vastly improved over the last few years. The ability to really drive a 1:1 conversation at scale is so much more available on social media vs. paid advertising or your website. The primary reason companies reach out to Project Bionic includes one or more of these three “R’s”:
- Repair a reputation
- Revenue Conversions
Social media isn’t only reserved for online offerings. Josh shares that brick and mortar stores are finding stickiness with prospects in driving in-store and e-commerce traffic through social media engagement.
Don’t want to pay for an agency? No problem. Josh shared Facebook and Instagram tools that are super user friendly. However, Project Bionic is known for helping build the strategy and then acting as the outsourced social media arm for your business–at a fraction of the cost of having someone do it in-house.
In this Freedom Speaker Series episode with Josh Dirks, you will learn:
- Why social media matters
- The role of social media in a down economy
- How social media allows for more intimate 1:1 relationships
- Why social media is such a great vehicle for experimentation
- The process of setting up and scoping Project Bionic engagement
We are fortunate to have Josh available to spend time with us on this edition of Stride 2 Freedom and leaning into the topics on the minds of all of us. If there is a speaker you’d like us to interview, click here and let us know. Stay well. Stay safe. Stay healthy.
