On this episode of Stride 2 Freedom, we had a chance to talk to Michelle Bomberger, a leading corporate attorney in Seattle WA called Equinox Business Law. What’s so unique about Equinox is they work on a fixed monthly fee as an “outsourced general counsel” to their clients on all different kinds of corporate matters.

What really struck me during the call that I hadn’t expected to discuss was how to think about breaching contracts and the implications. No one wants to willingly breach an agreement but if your business is in distress and you won’t be able to deliver on certain commitments, you may breach. How do you assess the risk? How should you communicate with that partner? Yes, there are a lot of legal elements here but it’s also about humanity. We discuss workplace issues as well and cover the legal topics that business owners care about.

In this Freedom Speaker Series episode with Michelle Bomberger, you will learn:

  • How to think about contract compliance in the age of COVID-19
  • Workplace issues and legal implications
  • 3 things business should be doing today
  • How fractional corporate law firms work with clients

We are fortunate to have Michelle available to spend time with us on this edition of Stride 2 Freedom and leaning into the topics on the minds of all of us. If there is a speaker you’d like us to interview, click here and let us know. Stay well. Stay safe. Stay healthy.
